The Knowledge Galaxy rebuilt paper-first, on macOS, iPad, iPhone and Linux, so the map is read at three altitudes: regions, then hubs, then every note.

• New Bounded regions: Each constellation is drawn as a real boundary with its name on a plate, and regions are spaced so no two ever cross.
• New Altitude: A Regions / Hubs / All notes control replaces the zoom percentage. Labels are named by rank at each step, and every note is named at the lowest.
• New Three kinds of star: Hubs wear a ring, linked notes are solid, stubs are a ring alone. Links are solid in their region's hue; echoes are dotted and neutral.
• New Following: Select a note and the map dims to its first degree, with a pill that names what you are following. The detail panel pins its header, and each connected note is one click on.
• New Accent-derived hues: The constellation colours are derived from the workspace accent, so a Cobalt or Rust workspace no longer looks purple.
• Improved iPad and iPhone: The legend and altitude sit in one bottom bar on iPad; on iPhone a tap pushes the note full screen, double-tap fits, and a two-finger tap steps out.
• Improved Linux: The same regions, altitude, plates and panel on GNOME.

The Knowledge Galaxy redesigned so a workspace of hundreds of notes reads as a map, and made fast enough to open at once.

• New Constellations: Notes that link or echo among themselves form named regions, each with its own colour and halo. The legend isolates one region with a click.
• New Labels that earn their place: The most connected notes are named first, more appear as you zoom, and no label covers another. Titles come from the note's first heading.
• New Focus: Hover or select a note and only its neighbourhood stays lit. The detail panel lists connected notes, links before echoes, and each one is a step to the next.
• New Find a note: Type to light matching notes; Enter selects the first and centres on it. Fit, zoom and rebuild controls on the map.
• New Light mode: The map follows the app appearance with its own inked palette.
• Improved Speed: The semantic index is kept on disk and only new or edited notes are re-read, in parallel. The layout settles before the map appears and the canvas redraws only when you interact. Galaxy tabs restored from a previous session build on sight.
• Improved Linux: The same map, panel, search and palettes on GNOME, with the build and file reads off the main thread.

Shortcut tooltips on the format rail, on macOS and Linux.

• New Rail tooltips: Hover any key on the format rail and a pill opens on the inside of the workspace with the tool name and its keyboard shortcut.
